The Climate Action Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing public understanding of climate issues and renewable energy solutions in Rhode Island. Our mission is to carry out educational activities that deepen awareness of the climate crisis and accelerate the transition toward clean, renewable energy.

Our Work Includes:

  • We develop fact-based educational materials and resources on renewable energy.

  • We host monthly educational events featuring experts in sustainability, policy, and technology. We engage the community through social media campaigns and public awareness initiatives.

  • Encouraging public participation in town councils and other decision-making venues

Our Impact:

From creating a statewide petition supporting offshore wind, to coordinating educational initiatives like Sun Day and the Yes to Wind National Week of Action, our efforts reach communities across Rhode Island with actionable information and inspiration to act on climate.
